I've noticed that when I look at my elevations between floor lines there is a line that is formed. I eliminate this line by the "join" command, but there are other instances like when the one wall abuts another and a verticle line is formed I cannot always "join" that line away and I end up with this line in my elevations. Is there a work around and why is this happening?

simple wall should join and not show that line unless: They are different materials, or they are not coplaner. There can be many more factors but with the limited amount of information, you get a limited answer, hope it helps.
