I was wondering if anyone else was having this issue, I tried to export a sheet to dwg format and nothing happens. I went thru the help files and followed it step by step but when I hit export nothing happens. Revit Architecture 2010 x 64

On the first dialog box, select "export" and not the "ok" tab.Be sure that the "<Current View/Sheet Only> is selected if you are trying to export a sheet. It will then take you to another dialog box asking where you would want to save it. Then processing comes.

I tried it every way I know and then my co-worker tried it a few different ways and still nothing. It worked fine on his machine the first time so I will reinstall revit again and see if that will fix the issue. Thank you for your help Have a Great Day

Did you ever find out the problem with exporting sheets into CAD files? I am also having that problem in Revit 2010. Did reinstalling help?

I do this pretty much every day. Export both views and sheets to DWG. Have been doing it with all past releases of REVIT without a problem although the interface has changed. Currently on RAC 2011 32 and 64. Check with your Autodesk reseller on anomolies like this. That is what they are their for and that is why you pay so much for the software. I say this because I worked for resellers for many years and they have people on staff trouble shooting these type of problems.

I have had trouble exporting to DWG if I'm running low on memory. I have a fairly large project that works my machine pretty hard, and I found that if I ever got the "your session is using too much memory" (or however it is worded) error, exporting was a no-go. I couldn't get it to export lists, I ended up opening each sheet and exporting it individually, and for the big overall plans I actually had to close and restart Revit after each export. A pain, but it worked.
