I created divisions in my sheet index for drawings to show up properly on my cover sheet, etc. etc.  At one point, I created a divion just called "???" because it was a random sheet used for presentation only.  Now, when I add new sheets, they are filed under that random category even when the sheets properities are changed and it is assigned the corrent and different division.  Keep in mind, the sheet is numbered correctly and even shows up on the drawing list correctly, but the sheet index toolbar displays it under the wrong division.  Any suggestions?

Look under the properties of the sheet.  If you have added a division parameter, then you need to fill that in in order to sort correctly.

I checked on that already.  In the properities it shows up under the electrical division and shows up under that division on the drawing list, but it is literally just "filing" in the toolbar under the wrong division.  Sorry if i am not understanding your suggestion correctly Smile

Look at the top of your browser.  If it doesn't say "Views all" then you have a sort setup on your browser.  You have a parameter setup to sort your sheets that is not filled in and that's why they are all going under ???  You should not have used that because that is REVIT's default for sorting when a sort parameter is not set... for either a view or a sheet.

Annie,

With the sheet open do you have a subcategorie called "text" in your VP? Can you maybe select the desired folder from the pull down menu?

Regards,

Finn.
