Is it possible to apply a surface pattern to a site sub region? You can apply a material to a sub region, but the surface pattern of the sub region does not show up. Am I missing something?

Even in 2010 you can't, did you see the warning??? If you want in a "plan view" create some area with a surface pattern you can use the "Filled Region" with the appropriate "hatch" but this only appear in that view because like you should know it's a 2D element.... Don't solve the problem in 3D view but come one, your plan views (site and so one) looks ok...

'Surface Pattern' and corresponding 'Region Fill' appear differently. |
