Hi, I'm trying to export a 2009 model through GBMXL for a client to use in IES-VE. The client expects to received a .mit file which is created during the GBMXL export process, but when I issue the .mit file to the client there is nothing in it.

I have the IES-VE plug-in for Revit, but not the actual package itself so I have no way of checking the .mit file myself.

Is there something I'm obviously doing wrong or is the client wrong in wanting the .mit file?

 Any help appreicated.

yes just send them the gbxml it is small enough. a *.mit file is a Virtual Environment document. the only way to create on is to have the software. what they want you to do is export the gbxml and then import it to ve probably check it to make sure all the surfaces are ok. and then saving the ve project.
