Is anybody having problems with masking regions in Revit 2010 not masking anything. We hae a Break Line component that we use that is just a masking region and it still shows everything behind it. I have also just drawn in a masking region, but everything still shows up. I have sent to the front and that does not work. We have been using this with 2009 and had no problems.

See attached image. It is not masking the components.

Hi mreed, have you checked in Override--> by Element, if you don't have checked "Transparent".....

mreed, I must be seeing something other than what you are talking about. I see two break line symbols, whaich if they are revit standard, they include masking rgions and appear to work. If the circle is supposed to be a masking region, then you have done something else.

The two cut lines appear to work because I have stopped the lines at the break to make it look correct. The circle is a masking region that does not mask. I did check the overrides as suggested and they are not set to transparent.

Make sure you are in Hidden Line mode and not wireframe.
