Hi everyone,

I would like to issue a drawing for coordination to several consultants.

I identify a duct size on my drawing, but want to add a note.  I first use the duct size tag, which automatically detects the size of duct and updates as I change the size.

The note in its entirety should read as follows:

1200x600 U/G HVAC

DUCT SHALL BE LINED

WITH INSULATION

However, the duct tag will not allow me to append a note.

So I used the duct tag, then added a text box under it, but now the note looks like this:

1200x600

U/G HVAC DUCT SHALL BE

LINED WITH INSULATION

I hope you guys follow what I mean.  I want the words to immediately follow the 1200x600 and all together form one text box.

Cheers!

Hi, thanks for that last reply.  Can you please give me an idea as to how I would add instance based text to a tag?  If it's complicated to explain, maybe you have a link?

Thanks again
