I am working on a window in the family editor, and I'm having trouble with some of the dimensions in the family types dialog box. There are dimensions for "Width," "Height," "Rough Width," and "Rough Height" that cannot be modified or removed, and I cannot tell if they are instance or type parameters. The file I am working on was created by someone else so I don't know if these dimensions/parameters are there by default or were created by the previous user. Is there any way I can manipulate these dimensions to my liking? Thanks

Hey, the parameters you are talking about are family type parameters. Depending on which type of family you are working on (picked in settings, family category and parameters) you will be forced to include some parameters in your project. The ones you mentioned are type parameters. If you dont want to use them and dont want them getting in the way you have to change your family category to something like generic models (wont be listed under windows in the project anymore if you do.) Otherwise you are stuck with these parameters just how they are, you can change the value but not much else. Cheers!
