Hi there,

I'm currently working on a project with some phases (Exiting, Demo and New). I set up some Graphic overrides for the Existing phase, but I noticed there's only one graphic override setting to be created per phase (Existing, Demolished, New and Temporary).

I'd like to create two different graphic overrides for the same phase, to be selected in different phase filters. Is it possible to, for instance, show a solid greyed out hatch for existing elements in plan, AND show detailed greyed out elements in plan details?

I tried to apply a Graphic override based on filters using the Visibility Graphics toolbox, but there's not filter option for phases.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I dont think what you want to do with the phaseing is possible.

However, there is a work around you can use.(and this is the way that the phases NEED to work).

Set your project up into worksets. Allow your worksets to the the Phase property (So you may have like Shell-Existing, Shell New, etc)

Then use a filter for the worksets. This should give you better control than the phases will.

Just as a follow up you still may have to use phases too, this way revit still knows whats existing/new/demo, but you use the worksets for the graphics only.
