We have a project team working in one place 2 days in the week and another place the other 3 days. The situation is that we have to move the central file fra one place to another every week.

Is there a easy way to get around this problem? The Internet is still to slow for VPN connections. Is there some way to Sync the two servers?

Yes there are replication server softwares such as Riverbed Technology that does exactly that.  If you know a little about the API or journal files you could quite easily write a script that automatically copied the central file from the other server and recreated it as a new central file on the other server each time it needed to swap.

The other option is utilising Remote Desktop if you have vacant PC's at one end and keeping the file on the one server.
