Sorry if this has been asked before but I looked around and couldn't find anything specific to my problem.

I'm using a fascia sweep to add gutters to my roof. My gutter is a wide cylindrical shape. (see picture) But roofs have varying angles and most times the corners of the gutter do not mitre. If they do it comes out quite strange. I have tried sweeping it all at once to no avail & I have also used the mitre option with no reults.

 Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

If this is a roof edge sweep, you can place them sequentially and they will cleanup.  If you have one already placed, you can click on it and add segment to make that continuous.

I can't tell from what you have posted but are you putting a gutter on a rake edge?  I don't think Revit will put a gutter on that.

Yes, raked edge. Hence adding the gutter with a fascia sweep.

Adding them in sequential order almost worked on all the joints, but it's a little hit and miss on the coners that are larger then 90 degrees.

Any other suggestions?

You may have to create a family to make the odd mitre. In real life this is a problem and i think it translates through with Revit. Revit can't calculate compound mitres very well.

Give us a 3d view to confirm your situation.
