I'm operating Revit 2009 and have a 30" LCD monitor.  When I select an object, or start a new command, anytime the Options Bar has options, the program is creating new menu lines at the top of the screen (instead of adding the options to the left of the Type Selector).  It's causing the viewing window to "skip" and is driving me batty!  Does anyone have any suggestions?

 Thanks!

I have only seen this happen with dual monitors, what graphics card  and driver are you using?

I'm actually using dual monitors - it's a laptop monitor and separate 30" LCD.  Graphics card is an NVidia Quadro NVS 140M.  The driver appears to be the most recent.

ahh I have seen that with a laptop and external monitor. I cant remember the exact solution but using your nvidia control panel or just your computers display settings try altering the configuration of your monitors. For example try changing which monitor is the primary and possibly try cloning them then going back to the dualview configuration.

I actually found another thread on this.  It was exactly like you said - rearrange the monitor configuration.  Basically I had to make the big monitor my primary - which isn't a big deal.  Now I won't go nuts!

 Thanks!
