Anytime I am in my second floorplan mode it will not let me use railings, stairs, or anything of that nature. It tells me the work plane is not in the right view and tells me to go to tools and change this but it will not let me. Someone please let me know.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN BY "SECOND FLOOR PLAN MODE".... DID YOU CREATE A FLOOR PLAN VIEW FROM THE LEVEL? IF SO, THERE IS NO NEED TO SET THE WORK PLANE AS REVET DEFAULTS TO THE LEVEL.

I just mean when I click level two on my plan views it tells me to pick a plane. I know it usually defaults but this is an unusual circumstance.
