How do I tell Revit not to draw these items in plan view. for my pipe rises I'm getting   -------O  instead of   --------O like I'm used to in ACAD. The symbol that is generated looks like an 'up tee' not a rise. my project manager is going nuts because of this. Also I don't want to see the old school fitting marks either, you know a dash on either side of the tap.

 

Much thanks to anyone with the answer or information leading to the correct fix for this.

I haven't used Revit Systems as yet.  But I'd imagine if you edit your pipe riser symbol family to have a masking region it will conceal the line.  I'm taking a stab in the dark as to how it works here...
