In the attached jpg, you can see the double line of the wall opening. This opening is at 8' and I've tried adjusting the view range, but it still shows. In this plan, it should just be showing the edge of this ceiling. I've looked in VG but didn't have any luck, unless I missed something. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your time.

I would suggest that it is still the view range - check that the cut plane is above the level of the door.
