Hello everyone, I'm new to Revitcity and the forum! I have many years of AutoCAD experience and just recently stepped into the realm of Revit! I just bought Paul Aubin's book and have indulged very lightly. Any advice for a newcomer and where to start? Thanks!

Welcome. Start by doing some of the tutorials. REVIT really needs hands on learning... the more you use it the easier it will get. Check out the on-line tutorials here and on some of the links under resources. Be aware that you need to drop your CAD thought process as soon as you can and learn to think Revit's way. If you fight that, you will just have difficulty.

Hello, I'm also new to RevitCity. I'm a recent BSArch grad working on my IDP while saving for grad school... I've been using Revit at my job for the last 7 months. My firm is in the process of switching from Revit 2009 to Revit 2010. I've utilized this site a few times for some advice and some models, so I figured it was time to start contributing!
