I am trying to pick points to create my topography, but when I follow the contour lines, it is triangulating to fill in the space that belongs to the next contour height. What settings do I need to adjust to keep it from doing so?

hi, I've had this problem also. I'm not sure what the best solution is but this is what I've found. I'm assuming your contour lines come from an imported CAD file. Go back to into you CAD software and make sure the lines are separated vertically to represent elevation changes. For example, if your contour lines represent 10' intervals, move the lines 10' apart from each other on the Z axis. Import the file into Revit, go to Site>Toposurface, then click Use Imported>Imported Instance, and click on your imported contour file. Let me know if you have any issues, good luck.
