Hi,

I am designing a diner and am importing some of the less important specialy equipment (IE: Toasters, Microwaves) from Sketchup for interior elevations, equipment plans/schedule etc.

These elemenst show up fine in all views when opened as a family but when inserted as components into the project, they show up as wireframe in plan view (hidden).

Is this a function of cut plane or visibility or is it, as I suspect a bug with the Revit import process?  I am using Revit 9.1.

Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Do you know if these objests are created using mesh in sketch-up? That would most likely be the cause of the lines in the floor plan view. Since the objects werent created in revit the hidden line wont work with them.

What you can do is to "hide" those lines with a masking region and hidden lines.....
