I know i found the answer to this somewhere in the forum before, but i can't find it and i forgot how to do it. a constant ground plane shows up in all my renderings at the 0' mark. i know in the render settings you can change the groung plane and i have tried to change it to 2', but i believe there is another setting you must change in the 3d view's properties, but i cannot find it. I know i found the answer to this somewhere in the forum before, but i can't find it and i forgot how to do it. if anyone out there could help me out i would greatly appreciate it, thanks

Are you talking about the Advance Graphic Setting under view properties, if you click on that to change your shadows there is another groudn plane setting there that you need to turn off.

There are two places to change the ground plane settings, and I cant remember which takes precidence. One is in the rendering side menu, settings, click environment and you can check on or off the ground plane setting there and set its level above the xy plane. The other place to set it is under the settings in the top menu, then sun and shadow settings and you can check on or off the ground plane and set it to a level in your project. Cheers!
