I work for a CM modeling projects for estimating etc, I used to work in an architecture firm and only used Revit Arch. Do I need both now? Can I do everything I did in Revit Architecture in Revit MEP plus build the mech. systems? Thanks in advance...

Revit Architecture can slice bread..... I don't think MEP has that feature.

I stand corrected! It's true MEP has some architectural features but not all of them, just like structural has some and architectural has some structural.... blah blah blah. I dont think MEP can do some of the more complex architectural features, and I may be wrong but it probably doesnt have conceptual massing like revit 2010 architectural does. I have said in the past a Revit Construction with all disciplines (even civil?? yes civil) would be frikken sweet!

Revit MEP Can't do: - Structural Beams, Columns, Bracing - VERY Annoying
- Host Sweeps and reveals (Walls, Roofs, Gutters, Slab Edges)
Might be a few others, but those are the most apparent AND annoying

mep isnt able to do the site components either. the conceptual massing is however part of 2010, as i understand from a white paper.

oh nice! I wasnt sure if the engineer packages would get the conceptual massing, it is a pretty fun feature thats for sure. I suddenly find myself using Max and Sketchup a lot less
