I new Typhoon would find you out....<GRIN>

99% of all problems are user errors but it is really hard for us to find them - just too many variables - that's why it's good when you can post something we can look at.

Glad Typoon could help you.... but please, when we suggest you look at something ... (like make sure all of your slopes and offsets are the same) ... please look closely.

Thanks for your help also, nut for the record, I did check the slopes like you said.  I was just unaware of the align eaves command that Typhoon pointed me out to.

LOL.... "

I have my perimeter walls. I go to the roof by footprint command. I give an overhang dimension of 1'-4". I then click on the "pick walls" command. I then set the "defines slope" command for the lines that define the slope and then change all of the angle to 6:12. I then click the finish roof. The attached image is what it spits out. The valley and hip lines should originate at the corners or intersections.

I am using Revit Structure 2009 if that makes a difference.

edited on: Thu, Apr 2, 2009 at 3:03:29 PM"   - Yeah, You don't lie, you just don't tell the truth, LOL.... AND you edit your POST...

You corrected the issue, Glad For you....

By the Way: YOU WELCOME....
