I have searched but have not been able to find a way to create an arched top for a wall and apply a sweep or banding to the top.

I realize this is probably simple, but even the Revit help does not explain it.

Thanks in advance.

Jim

To make a wall have an arched top you need to select the wall and edit the profile of it. this is best done in an elevation or section view. and as far as adding a sweep to it you can use massing for that.

Don't use a mass for this - create an in-place family.  You can choose the face of your wall for your work plane.

Thanks for the edit profile, it worked like a charm.

This is the wall I want to add a cornice to.  How do I create the arched cornice for this?

Thanks again for your help.

Like WWhub said, don't use mass to do that, use "Create-in-Place"- chose the category you want, then "solid sweep"...
