How can I get my rending to show colors?

Grey is the default color. Learn to do a little research by searching the forum for "grey" and you will see multiple posts on this.

You need to add materials to the model. Check the element properties of all the objects and make sure a material is attached and that the Render Appearance isnt set to default.
