I need channel glass similar to the one like in Steven Holl's Pratt institute in revit. Does anybody know how can I get it in there?thanks

to me that looks like you could just use a curtain panel and change the boundary of it to get the desired shape and panel sizes.

i actually did that, but im not really sure now how to assign material to it so I could render

well to add materials to a to the mullions you will need to select the mullions and create a new type and then add a new material. to do this

Click the Mullion

Go to Element Properties

Click Edit/New

and here you can change the material.

 

It works the same for the glass.

i couldnt really find how to change glass material in type properties. and i also went to Settings->Materials, and change material and transperency level from there, but it didnt seem to work...

Go with your mouse to the glass panel, then with the "TAB" key click several times until you see the panel is selected, then pick with the mouse, go to the properties and you have there the glass material where you can change...
