Working on a project with Revit MEP-Structure & Architecture.

On the plumbing plans I want to bring in just the mechanical equipment that will require action from me...like condensate draining, or a boiler that requires water. The Electrical team needs all the Mechanical equipment that requires power like AHU's and from me booster pumps, etc. Is there a way to bring just those items over as a link (in case something moves or is added) and leave all the other stuff like duct, etc behind? I know that we can bring in the model and uncheck things in visibility graphics but the whole model is still there and taking up memory (RAM). If there is a way to do this, is there also an easy way to "toggle" back and forth between just those equipment items and having the whole model?

Only thing I can think of is some modifed View Templates.

Thanks
