My columns keep on moving with elements such as walls. I want them to be locked to the grid lines ONLY or to stay where I put them. I have tried pinning them and they still move. I have tried aligning them to the grids and the "locking" it but when I then try to move a wall it doesn't let me as it says "Constraints are not satisfied". What am I missing? Please help!

Try selecting the columns and unticking "moves with nearby elements" and see if this helps. I am aware of a bug with columns moving, but (touch wood) i'm yet to experience the problem first hand. HTH.

Thanks but I do not have that option in the "properties" box of the column. I only have "move with grid" option to tick or untick.

This option doesn't appear in the properties box. It show at a check mark in the top status bar directly above your main model window... HTH.
