All, Is there a way to create a spot elevation family type without the target? I am refering to the spot elevation symbol you get when you go to Drafting / Spot Elevation.

Open your spot elevation family....delete the target graphics.... give it a new name

The spot elevation family is a system family and means of opening it is not readily obvious. Any suggestions?

You have already that kind of "Spot Elevation", with or Without "Target"...

Thanks all... Some simple family types have gone by the way of successive purges. I knew it was a simple thing. Under the type properties of the Spot Elevation / Graphics / Symbol / none. I appreciate the help!
