I'm having trouble creating a curved ceiling so I can inserts some lights. I've been told that I could create an "in-place model in the ceiling family", but how exactly do I do that? thanks for help....

in the modelling tab choose create... and pick a ceiling. you can either use extrude or sweep to create family in place.
