Hello, I'm looking for a way to put rigid insulation into my revit drawings. I can only seem to find tapered insulation in the Revit libraries. If anyone has used rigid insulation in their projects, and could help me out, I would appreciate it.

I assume that you're referring to adding rigid insulation within your wall system, and I don't think using a family is the way to go about this. If I have understood you correctly, then all you have to do is to edit the structure of your wall system. (Under the Construction section click on the <edit> button). Once there, under function, choose thermal/air layer [3], under material choose Insulation/Thermal Barriers - Rigid Insulation. (If it's not already there use the duplicate key and rename the new material you create to 'Rigid Insulation'.) Then just enter your thickness of rigid insulation you want in the wall.
