maybe someone in revit structure knows how to change

the length of a joist component?

 

others have said the length is in the element properties-

but what they don't say is that the length is grayed out in there..

 

the joist locked itself to the top of the wall- so if i move one of

the walls then the joist changes length.. but i want to change

it's lenght independantly because i want a different position

for the end of the joist at the wall..
