So I'm trying to create a symbol legend for a restaurant. We want to show each type of seating arrangement with the number of people it seats. In the project, I created model groups containing a table and the proper chairs for each seating type (i.e. small table with 4 chairs, large table with 6 chairs, booth, etc). Now I need to show it in the legend, but I pick the model group and click to place it, and it simply doesn't show up in the legend. There is no error message or anything, and all my model categories are visible in the legend view. I tried placing the components separately, but it won't let me rotate anything in the legend (i.e. chairs) so I can't correctly show a seating arrangement. What gives?  Do I need to show the furniture a different way in the plan?

I went and re-created the tables and chairs by drafting them in with detail lines, but it seems like there must be a better way.

If the grouping had been done in the family, they could have been shown in the legend.

Another method is to create a callout of the group where it occurs in plan ...  and place those on a sheet.
