I have tried it on two different machines and same error....... I made sure to cut roof lines in middle exactly....sqaure building

make certain that you turn off the "defines slope" option for the roof sketch.

Again: http://screencast.com/t/N47RaoP1I I don't understand your "Feet and Fractional inches" system but I think you are doing something wrong, by the way what version of Revit are you using??? In the last "Resourse", can you please make a "clip" (video, movie..) like you are made that roof???

Here is the file I just created using your way and I think I did everything right. I am using Revit 2009.
