I need to add mechanical units to my electrical design. How do I do that? I can not find a mechaincal rooftop unit that is 240 volt single phase. aslo because this job is existing there is some exisitng equipment there and I dont know how to add them to the panel schedule. I am told I have to put in a device even though it is existing, but what about things that are in the panels that I dont show on the plans for example exterior lighting that is existing and I am only showing the new loads that are in the building. As my first project in Revit I am finding out that it is really for new consrtuction. If some one has any advice for me please respond to my post.

 Thanks

Mitchell

you can accomplish this by using j boxes that are set to the existing phase and filter them out so that you dont see them on plan, good luck trying to use revits panel schedules though. ive gone back to using cad for them.
