We use Revit 8.0. How do you turn off the title that Revit puts on the tag at each corner of the tag? I don't want it to show on the plan on the plot sheet!

It's been awhile since I used 8 but I think it was the same as now.  If you never clicked on the checkbox, the view was never created so it should not show.  If you created the view but did not place it on a sheet, make sure in your plot setup that you hide un-referenced view tags.

Why haven't you upgraded?

I think he (and I) are talking about how do you turn off the title showing up with the interior elevation tag? I have the view referenced in a sheet, but I don't want the name of the view to show up in the plan. It takes up too much space.

PS. Original post was 05. I hope he updated.  2009 here.

I don't believe in 8 you can individually hide a reference but you can turn all of them off in VG

OK found it. Settings-->View Tags --> Elevation Tags and turned off Show View Name.
