I have a trouble with purlins how can i properly place it? because i am using 3d snapping so that i can place it to the top chord.. is there a proper way of placing a purlin without using 3d snapping or do we have other option in manipulating purlins?

I'm also having trouble with this.

Should you be creating a separate ref plane for these?

How do you create a sloping steel roof framing model making sure it is as flexible as possible?
