I am using the structural foundation slab family to model concrete struts on my foundation plan. At each strut/spread footing interface a dotted line shows up on top of a continuous line. The strut and footing are joined but the continuous line will not disappear. Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this problem? Thanks, Matt

Are the materials the same? And the level of the top of the structure is the same as well? I know that last sounds a little childish but it has happened to me as well in the past.

Thanks for the input. Yes the materials are the same and the top of footings are the same. When I uncheck structural in the element properties of the foundation slab the continuous line goes away. This seems very odd. It solves the problem but I would like to keep the strut discipline as structural.
