We originally started a project at 1/8" = 1'-0" the architect requested metric so the scale was changed to 1:100. when I changed the scale all of my section cuts and detail lines disappared. Any suggestions on how i can get this information back? This error was shown

Error message Elements None of the created elements are visible in Structural Plan: FIRST FLOOR PLAN View. You may want to check the active view, its Parameters, and Visibility settings, as well as any Plan Regions and their settings. View "Structural Plan: FIRST FLOOR PLAN" : Lines : Detail Lines : id 260172

I didn't change anything other then the scale in this file. The detail lines are visible when i try to reveal the elements but when I select unhide nothing happens. Any ideas?

go back to you original scale 1/8"=1'-0" then select the items that disappear in 1:100 scale, then go to element properties, there change the scale where it says "hide at scales coarser than".  You probably have it at 1/8"=1'-0" make it lower than that.  let me know if it works for you.
