When I import an autocad (2009) drawing into Revit (2009) with a sand patterned hatch, the hatch shows on the screen but it doesn't ever print.  It doesn't show when I print to PDF or any of our office plotters or printers.  I think it could be the dots...

I've tried the concrete pattern in the same way.  It is composed of dots and triangles.  The triangles print but not the dots.  Any thoughts?

Revit does not like very small increments.  I personally do not like to import cad drawings.... and NEVER explode a CAD drawing with hatches in it.

I can see the hatch in Revit though, do you think it just gives up on it when I go to print?

We use Autocad to do our site plans and then import them into Revit to do notes and place them on a sheet.  We don't expode them, but continue to work and reload them from Autocad.  We need to be able to hatch sidewalks in autocad with something similar to the sand pattern.  Using filled regions to hatch sidewalks in Revit is SO time consuming.  Are there any autocad patterns similar to "sand" that actually work?  Could it be the particular sand pattern we use?
