I've been working on some door families. I've created what I call a "Door Project".  Some of the content is just modified from here, some is modified from RAC, some my own. If anyone is interested I'd be more than glad to make them available. Is there a way to upload the project? It's almost 5 meg. Some of the things i tried to do was limit the types, name so they list in a sensible way. I still have some more work on them. But hey. I'm not sure what phase i'm in but after a year with RAC I'm feeling the need to get organized and back to power drafting OOOPs modeling.....

Adding sidelights is not that difficult.

Save a copy of the family and modify the extrusions. The first thing I would do is set up the reference planes for the sidelight frame/mullion components.  Add parameters if you want to control the sidelight width. Then edit the opening, panel and glass extrustions. If it has wood trim then adjust that extrusion too. Be sure to flex the family. Load it into a project and flex it there too.

The project is available for download here at RC.

 HTH

John
