Is there a way to "cope" the ends of memebers of a truss, especially the web members, so that they fit nicely together without having them appearing to be separated?  See pic.

 Thanks

If that is a wood truss I would use a gusset. It is the way they build them. Is this a family you built or a down load?

It is just one of the standard truss families.  It will be a steel tube truss, with welded connections.  I would like to have the ends of the diagonal webs angled to fit into the corner made by the vertical webs.

Tab to cycle through and select individual chord, or web member.  Unpin and pull the grip.

Hi

hope this will give u an idea

1.modify web family (structural beam family)

2. use COPE  Cryingor cut opening by face to clean the join)
