I have a simple question. I am using revit 2009 and I and going and placing my ceiling into my RCP. On hard lid ceilings we use a gyp texture. Changed the surface texture on the out of the box gyp ceiling. No problem so far. The problem arises when I try and change a a gyp ceiling to a ACT. I can not select the gyp ceiling in the RCP. All I can select is the space. If I want to change it I have to go to 3D mode remove the roof and the second floor to be able to select the ceiling. Also why I am here I can not erase a ACT ceiling in the RCP. I also have to go to rip through the 3D model to be able to delete it. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Why don't you use a "Section view" in that zone to see your ceiling???

Does it work if you tab through hovering on the side? Sometimes the program is just stuborn about what it will let you grab. Also another way to get to it is use your clip box on your 3d model so you don't have to turn elements off.
