Hello,

Is there an option in Revit to orient a view perpendicular to a work plane? For example, orthagonal floor plan views are perpendicular to the work planes defined by levels. If I creeate a work plane not orthagonal to x,y,z, is there a way to look at the work plane head on at 90 degrees?

You can rotate your Work Plane if you want and you have the option "View > Orient > By Plane"....

I am trying to orient plan view parallel to working plane but the view>orient> shows only grey out options. Am I missing something?

Thanks

On this same topic...  I was wondering if there is a way to "Orient to other side of plane"  Revit is going to a perpendicular view, but it's not looking from the side we want to be on.....  Do planes have side names?

save to central

It will orientate to the side that its closest to at the time.  Manually rotate the view around to the other side then orient again...
