Has anyone been able to acquire the rebar from RAM SS for scheduling purposes?Terry

From what I can tell, this information does not exist.  However, you can manually add it yourself to the footing.  Add two shared text parameters for top and bottom reinforcing.  The reinforcing won't show up as an object since it is only text, but you can get it to show up in a footing schedule.  If you don't know how to do shared paramters, look it up in the Revit Structure help file.  They're very powerful.

Thank you.  I am aware of prameters.

I was hoping for a dynamic solution.

I will keep the thread updated with my findings.

I was told,

"We may be able to create the 3D rebar objects in the Revit model using the RAM-Revit Link but it is something that would need to be developed.

I will add an enhancement request so that they can decide whether to add that feature."

FOR ALL YOU RAM / REVIT USERS......................

submit a "New Feature" request by creating a Service Ticket and checking the 'New Feature' button.
