version 2009 I have modified my room tags by adjusting the spacing between the text so they take up a little less space. I cannot adjust the location of the box around the room number though. Additionally it does not show up in the room tag family? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, AAron

In the family editor - goto VG and turn on annotation elements!

2012 user. Trying to do the same thing - reduce the size of the room tag number box. When I go to 'edit Family' I have no VG option show up in the Family editor, just options for the label!

Yes. It opens a window called 'VG overrides for sheet' but all options are grayed out. I don't ever see the box when in edit family mode.
