hello people i'm totaly new here and practicaly new to Revit.....i'm modeling my first project in Revit and have a small problem ....i need to have these railings around window i think this style of railings is called french railings or french balconies....can't remember right now)....i have window and need to model them railings so that they extend when i choose to have a bigger window.....there's a pic ateched that show what i want and rfa file atached so if anyone would be kind enaught to make that for me and give me back with everything done and with specific instructions how they did it because i'm on deadline here...have no more time to experiment myself thnx

Your drawing appears to be in Acad not Revit what gives

autocad is only picture.....i have sketches in autocad and i'm making the project in revit....and i'm showing you what railing i want on my window.....and atached the revit window family whitch i use in that project...

Hi, i don't know the materials and the dimensions but i put some parameters to control only the railing, check the image attached and the model.... I forgot the thickness for railing, done...

everything would be gr8 with railing ....i mean the setup of it but it looks all wrong in the model .....i atached the pic so you could see....pls could you fix that? thnx for helping me ppl

Take a look now, about the railings you can control the lenght, Material and so one...

You welcome, did you see the parameters in plan and elevation view??? Dimensions, parameters, align.... that's what you must to do....

if you're talking everything about after i load rfa into my project then yea i know how to control thoe parameters, i'm just realy not into rfa editor yet.....and tomorow morning is my deadline so have no more time to study in and out that rfa editor.....one last thing man...if it's not a big deal....could you make me last favor? make one more window family exactly the same as before (with french railing) only window ther should be one casement not two....pls man....be my personal Jessus Christ today hu?
