This rendering also done with a floor of water material.

You can dial up or down the waves with the water material.

This is a shallow reflection pool.

The pool lights have a nice effect at night.

Tim 123 and Erland73,

 

Can you guys please help me out?  What material settings did you use for your water?  The water in my renderings just look green like someone needs to clean the pool.

Sorry, but I am a bit new to Revit. I have the opposite problem. I am doing a lrage site plan in 3D and when I do a 3D image in realistic mode I want the sea to be non transparent. Can not seem to do it. any suggestions?

Change your material settings for the water you are using.

Hallo!

I am rendering an exterior perspective in Revit 2014 and my lake seems very unrealistic.

There is very little reflection.

I created the lake surface with a floor 800mm thick.

At the bottom of the lake I have a white material.

 

I didn t manage to find where can I adjust the reflection of the water material.

And generally, I would welcome tips to make the water seem more real..

Sad

fresh water, no one has bathed yet

 

I made using the same methord which is eiher floor or ceiling both will work. take your time to use defferent methords. it will work, change the volume of waves and try
