I am new to Revit and this forum, so if I break a rule or ask a stupid question I will learn. Please be kind. I am on 09 Revit. I just got it and have been playing with it for a week or so. The problem is I can't figure out how to build a roof with different plate heights. When I try to change the height I have to remove that portion of the roof from say the 10' plate hgt. and then trim the roof closed. Then draw a "stand alone roof" at the new hgt. Then trial and error my way to making it close to the main roof. There has to be a better way. Tell me where to find the info please. I did a search and it looks like roofs are a weak area in Revit. I hope not because I design a lot of homes with many different plate hgts. and pitches. I was hoping this would help me in this area of productivity. Thanks EB Texas
