This is one question that I still don't know the answer. Thanks in advance. Please see the attaached Revit 2009 Architecture file. There's a simple round duct in this file. In the 3d view, with shading w/ edge, the blue color shows up. But in the level 1, 2 views, the blue color does't show up in blue even with the shading w/ edge, why??

Pick in the element, edit the family, go to "Family Types" in the Material parameter you make edit and change the color you want, then pick in the element go to options bar in the "Visibility" and check ON the "Plan/RCP", save and load into project...
