I'm using Revit 2008 and I am attempting to create stairs with an angled base. I know how to design them with the boundries and the risers, however when I create them they begin on the worng side. I understand that you should be able to select the stairs and click the small arrow to change the orientation, yet when I do that I get an error message stating that it "Couldn't generate the stair surfaces". Any help would be great!

Well I figured it out for anyone who has this problem. You can't have risers sharing borders. I was able to get by with creating a U-shape with the boundry.
