I have craeted a flag family and want to have several different colour flags - does each coloured flag need to be an independant family or is there a way to create a colour parameter which allows several flags to be placed in a project and the colour of each flag to be defined seperatly? Thanks

Hey, this can easily be achieved. Give your geometry a material parameter (select the geometry-->right click-->element properties-->materials and finishes-->click grey box next to it) and select the parameter type as "instance". Instance will ensure the "type" will still retain the same properties (width, height, etc) but the instance parameter will only effect the flag you selected; no other flags will be changed.
